Eureka Seven
Renton Thurston dreams of becoming a famous Lifter just like his idol Holland. In this world, effects from mysterious currents called Trapar Waves allow Lifters to ride them with the aid of Ref Boards as if they were surfing on the ocean. Unfortunately for Renton, after his father and sister disappeared, he is stuck living with his grandpa in a boring town where nothing ever happens . His mundane life is about to come to an end when a LFO from the rebelling Gekkostate crashes into their home and puts him in conflict with government forces trying to cover up a dark secret.
